When I am traveling to somewhere which I will need to depart from KLIA, KLIA Ekspres is my favorite mode of transportation. It saves me a lot of time without having to go through the bad Malaysian traffic jam on road.
The best thing is, I can just use the magic word and tell my mom “Please send me to Kepong Sentral KTM Station”. I will then take the always-so-slow-and-not-on-time-malaysian-ktm to the KL Sentral station to hop onto the KLIA Ekspres.
An adult ticket costs me at about RM35.00 for a single trip which it takes only 28 minutes to arrive to the KLIA instead of 50-60 minutes if I opt for a cab. (And a cab is charging me RM70.00 for a single trip)
The entire cabin is much more spacious and clean, so comfortably seated throughout the journey and it’s a non-stop service from KL Sentral to KLIA.
If I were to travel by AirAsia, then I have no choice but to opt for a cab for sending me to the terminal at RM70.00 per single trip. Otherwise, a shutter from KL Sentral will do.
It has been a while I didn’t take a long journey coach to anywhere in Malaysia. Normally, flight is the preferred choice of traveling but I think from now onwards, business class coach will be my first preferred choice for a long distance traveling.
The reasons are : -
Avoid wasting too much time at the airport while waiting for the flight.
Avoid inconvenient transportation mode during ETA to LCCT, it’s pretty tiring and exhausting.
Avoid sitting at small and uncomfortable Airbus seats.
Nowadays, business class coach is much more comfortable, entertaining and relaxing throughout the journey. It’s pretty spacious and the best of all, they do provide quality services.
The first thing I look at the bus and it gave me an impression of ‘WOW’.
Every passenger has their own set of mini LCD Screen for some games & movies.
Solo seaters & double seaters of the interior.
After a 30 minutes boarding, you will be served with a meal like this. (Singapore to Kuala Lumpur)
Or this (Kuala Lumpur to Singapore)
Overall, I’d say that this is a pretty good Luxury Coach Bus for Business Travelers. You can sleep all the way from Kuala Lumpur to your destination rather than spending too much time in the airport.
Kuala Lumpur - Singapore : RM80.00
Singapore - Kuala Lumpur : RM95.00
It has been a few times I went to Liang Xin Massage Parlour which is located at Jalan Bukit Bintang.
Whenever there are foreign clients come Malaysia for conventions, this is the preferred choice to have good massage instead of so many other massage parlors at Jalan Bukit Bintang.
At this Massage Parlor, they hire China Imported ladies & mens for body massage & foot massage services.
As for ambiance, it’s very nice and most importantly, comfort, comparing the others.
The massage bed meant with so many pillows.
With the low lightings in the massage parlor, I can only take pictures without flash, by setting ISO to 800 and shoot.
Sometimes, the staffs at this Massage Parlor is not too well-trained. We took a basic package of RM50.00 for 45 minutes massage, they actually not being too friendly.
The overall quality of this massage parlor has gone down, so, not recommended!
So, when you are thinking to pay a visit to Liang Xin Massage Parlor, do think twice.
This Dynasty Hotel Bangkok (Located at Bangkapi, opposite Ramkamhaeng University), I tell you, no good, no good.
The location of this hotel was located next to the Bangkapi Canal which I agree that you can see a very good view from your hotel room, if its located at high floor facing the city, like the below.
How nice, you can see this every morning when you wake up from sleep. One long tail boat coming after another and another and another.
With a price of USD49.00 per night, you get to stay this room located at high floor.
You can even see sunset from the window of this room.
But, it’s too ridiculous to have this hotel to have a terrible blackout when I went back to my hotel room that night at 11.00pm- 1.00am. Most of the guests have to wait at the lobby until 1.00am when the electricity comes back. Upon checking out, I requested for a refund or compensation for being a bad service, and It was being rejected.
I even posted a review at asiarooms.com, which I’ve made my bookings earlier.
Now I know better, I should stay at Avana Hotel during my next business trip to BITEC, Bangkok. It’s much more nearer to the convention center and also nearer to the city.
Remember once during my last business trip to Bangkok in October 2007, I used to stay in 13 Coins Resort and it’s just like a ghost mansion. See it to believe it!
In Bangkok, BTS Skytrain is one of the most important transportation method that the public use for daily transportation.
When its fucking jam on the road, I will take BTS Skytrain to the nearest drop off point and secondly, with a cab to reach my dinner or shopping destination.
I’d say its pretty convenient for backpack travelers or holiday makers.
The most important thing is, they won’t come late like what our Keretapi Tanah Melayu did.
The above image is a exchange platform for two routes. If I can remember, its at “SIAM Station”
Had you try making any online hotel room bookings before? If not, I’d recommend this website for your hotel bookings all over the world.
They have good rates and good services with the assistance of technologies. With the combination of the internet technology & mobile phone, the users are able to book their room by just some clicks on the computer mouse button.
Recently, I did a hotel booking for Bangkok, for an upcoming business trip.
I’d say the service of this website is pretty near to seamless, it has a good user-friendly user interface, allowing first time users to book their hotel rooms by just following the step-by-step instructions. With just some few clicks away, you get to book your room securely by confirming the payment using your credit card.
Nowadays, we do not need to make any phone calls for room reservation anymore. We can even compare a few hotels on their pricing, and also read some reviews on other travelers who stayed in that particular hotel before.
Upon booking approval, an email will be sent and there will be some instructions on how you get your check-in vouchers & invoices. You can just print those documents and get ready to check-in.
Once you clicked onto the link provided in your email inbox, you will be directed to this page acknowledging that you’ve read, and you will just need to print this out and show it to the hotel concierge for checking in.
I can check the booking status one-week prior to the departure date.
Even before the date of traveling, you will receive a reminder on your hotel booking.
See! I received this few days before !
Also, there are few more websites that you should know:-
For last minute bookings, you can go to to http://www.ratestogo.com/ You can book last minute hotel rooms and yet to get good rates!
Alternatively, you can also book your hotels at www.agoda.com.
Anyway, just make sure you compare all the prices on several websites before you confirm any bookings!
Note: This post is not on sponsored basis, it’s personal opinion of the author of this site.
You can now have a new toy in your bath tub rather than having only a rubber duck!
Ever heard of DiCAPac? A plastic case which allow you to swim together with your digital camera?
The superiority performance of DiCAPac is ensured by waterproof test for 2 times.
Within the 10M depth underwater, both Camera Button Operating and Photographing are convenient, as well as easily to acquire excellent underwater pictures.
About over 10M, as the reason for high water pressure applying to the Camera case, It’s common to feel some difficulties for button manual, however the waterproof result is guaranteed to be perfect.
The super transparent vinyl case and the optical lens are in a just matching, it is really amazing that same picture effectiveness could be acquired from DiCAPac compared with those high-end and expensive camera housing facilities. -Adopted from Dicapac Website
Thanks to efficient service of Shashinki.com Store, I placed my order on Sunday and made payment at the same day and I got my stuff on Thursday mailed by Poslaju to my office. (It comes with proper packaging)
Oh by the way, I got it at RM99.00.
All you need to do is to place your camera inside and zip-lock it, and to Velcro it.
You will need do to initial test during first use, to ensure there is no leakage. I tried it with a piece of money notes and it works!
Then, I placed my camera inside and these are some of the shots at the water tank.
I am going to Krabi Thailand for snorkeling, of course - Underwater Photography!

This morning, my secretary colleague made a reservation for my upcoming business trip to Bangkok on 13 October 2007 - 19 October 2007. We made bookings through Rates to Go and I’ve made a payment using my card.
By booking 13 Coins Hotel at USD29.00 x 6 nights, I paid the deposit first and thinking if the resort is not that nice, I will switch to another one immediately.
Guess what, my colleague went Bangkok last week and she is sleeping alone and she heard the sound of flushing toilet. She opts for a room-changing but in the end there is no more room available, ending up she has to overnight at the hotel lobby.
Surprisingly, someone from 13 Coins Hotel Chain - the managing director Mr Jason gave me a call and saying that they are offering a pickup from the airport and he mentioned that he is able to transfer me to a better “13 Coins Airport Grand Resort” rather than staying at “13 Coins Hotel”. All at no additional cost! (For your information, 13 Coins Hotel is selling at USD29 per night and 13 Coins Airport Grand Resort is selling at USD38 per night.)
Seriously this is so unbelievable. Do you have any idea why is this?
By confirming twice, he is able to transfer my team to the 13 Coins Airport Grand Resort with no additional extra charges. I am still doubting of it, and let’s see what is the offer that he manage to provide to me.
They have boxers’ ring, too!
By the way, the 13 Coins Airport Grand Resort that my team is staying in, there is free internet connection and I will be updating my Thai’s mobile number. You can reach me by calling +66********* (Total of 11 digits). I will be updating my Thai Mobile’s Number here once I purchase the number.
Calling to Thai is very cheap nowadays, it won’t cost you more than RM2.00 per minute. HAHA ! So, call me!
Anyone went to Bangkok before? Any nice place is a must to visit?
