Muar Chee is made from the glutinous rice paste and being steamed. It could not be kept long as it will get real sticky. It’s best to be served fresh and meant to be cut into small cubes/slices and mixed with grounded & roaster peanuts and sugar.

Muar Chee stalls can be found at some local markets in Klang Valley and it costs at least RM1.50 nowadays.

A portion of RM1.50 serves one.

Nowadays, we can hardly find Muar Chee stalls, some of them sell at the same old place while some of them roaming around at high traffic area for the maximized revenue.

For your information, Muar Chee is made from glutinous flour and peanuts at a very low cost and it sells at a good margin.

If you’ve never try Muar Chee before, you must find for one at some local markets.

Over many years, creative uncles came out with flavors such like pandan, sweet corn, black sesame and others.
