Thursday, July 31st, 2008 1,262 views

Short Note: “I will be going to Penang on 4 - 5 August 2008 , anyone is free for dinner ? “

After we had our dinner at The Apartments, we headed to 1 Utama Neway Karaoke!

The buffet at the karaoke looks good, it has various type of food to be chosen by the guest.

That Thursday night, ladies are free-or-charge and the extra person will be charged for RM38.00+.

The Apartments, The Curve Damansara

Wednesday, July 30th, 2008 118 views

That Thursday night, everyone was craving for red wine and end up we went to The Apartments at The Curve Flea Market.

At The Apartments, the price for each course and their wine is well-known with certain level of quality, and of course, price does matter.

When you are craving for red wine, you must choose a good bottle from the many bottles.

That’s Danny!

That’s Alicia Koay holding the glass of red wine, she’s blush!

That’s Megan Wong!

And finally, Gigi Chong!

Frankly speaking, I personally don’t like to dine at The Apartments as they have a very limited range of food to be chosen from the menu.

But, whenever I visit The Apartments, I will request for this small bowl of frozen grapes, which I love the best! It’s fucking expensive at RM5.00 per small bowl.

Tenderloin Steak

Lamb Shank

And that’s 5 of us before we leave the restaurant that night, and everyone looks blushed.!

My Best Football Moment!

Sunday, July 27th, 2008 178 views

I’m a Chelsea fan.

Now, Chelsea is coming to KL, of course I need to blog about them!

Read My Best Football Moment!

This moment goes back to the day when I have Bio for my mid-year exam but I put Chelsea VS Man UTD in the Champions League final as my priority, each gunning for the ‘holy grail’ in the world of football. And yes, I sacrificed my sleeping time for the sake of supporting my team, my mom even nagged me for not focusing on my studies. But I know,  I’m going to do whatever I could to offer them my support, which is what a typical Chelsea fan will do.

It’s hard to refresh my memory, remember once, Chelsea had lost to Manchester United in the penalty kick out. It’s heart-breaking, it’s heart-wrenching, and it’s such a pain. Thinking back of the match where two of the shots almost call it a winning game but then it got bounced back by the crossbar, the game is being brought into penalty kick-out.

Anyway, I hold my breath, I watched the players such as Ballack, Lampard, Cole, Beletti, Ronaldo, arguably the best player at that time, missed the penalty. And in just one shot we could sealed the game, winning our first ever Champions League Final, the ‘holy grail’. On coming was my idol, the Mr. Chelsea, John Terry. He’s the one who brought the club to this stage, and he could won the trophy for the club. Just one more shot. My heartbeat increased to the maximum level.

One…Two…Shot! For the split of one second, I saw Van der sar ( Goalkeeper) jumped to wrong side, the ball was heading to the right! It’s going in! IN! IN!

Then came a big ‘bang’. The ball hit the goalpost, and yes, again. The club lost the penalties.

Totally heart-breaking for me to endure such a cruelty in life. But we have reached so far after all. In which we went on to claim the runner-up medal.

This may not define the BEST FOOTBALL MOMENT properly. But to me, yes, the best moment I could ever get. In which I could see the tears flowing from the supporters and players, and me too. Realised that winning is not everything, but to stand tall even we lost the game. Deep inside, I knew, we will come back again next season, because IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!

That day after an appointment with a modeling agency, Gigi & Me went to this Sushi King at Queenspark to have some light lunch before heading back to the office.

If you can regoznize this place, it’s located in Queenspark and it’s pretty quiet that day.

Golden Eggs, our favorite!

Soft-Shell Crab!

The entire meal cost us about RM40.00 in total. It’s pretty expensive to dine at Sushi King.

The second day of the camp, it rains since the early morning.

We were gathered together for a breakfast at the resort’s dining area, and expecting it should be at least some sausages or some fried eggs for the breakfast.

Who knows, there are only some plain bee hoon with soup. - Worst Breakfast in Port Dickson. (Another blogger’s honest review)

1. Scavenging

We started our first mission, where we have to search for these items in the resort without going back to our rooms : -

  1. 3 Coconuts
  2. 1 Bikini
  3. 10 nos. of 5 cent coins
  4. 1 Boxers
  5. 5  Dead Flowers
  6. 5 Foreigners’ Name & Signatures

All with a blind-folded mascot following us wherever we go.

We found a boxer!

2. Pico INC.

Then, we were asked to make paper planes. In this activity, we have to “buy” materials in order to create our “planes” to make profit.

For an instance, the paper cost us RM1.00, the scissors cost RM30.00, the marker costs RM10.00 but the final product (Which is able to fly for at least 6 meters) is able to sell for only RM2.00.

Which mean, the more planes that you are able to build, the better profit you gain.

On each planes, you have to write down the group’s name.

That’s us building airplanes

After all the above activities, we took a break for lunch at the dining area.

Again, the best thing to eat is just the vegetables & fruits.

Even the filtered water is better than the colored sweet water.

After cleaning up ourselves, we went to the poolside to have our BBQ Dinner - The worst BBQ Dinner in Port Dickson.

They serve chickens, lambs, sausages, fish & potatoes with some rice, mee and fruits.

Casa Rachado does not have any quality measurement systems to monitor the quality of the food they serve, most of the food are either over-cooked, or not properly done. Some of it are tasteless and some of it are too spicy or salty. (Well, another blogger’s honest review)

Our director brought us some durians too!

When I told Megan that a snail is going towards her, that’s her response shown at the picture below.

Since Megan Wong will be having her birthday on the 20th of July, she was being thrown into the pool and get totally wet!

Another birthday girl, See Ting, thrown into the pool!

Do come back tomorrow 8.00am for the 2nd day of our camp!

Then, it’s sea rafting time!

We went to the “super” dirty, “super” black, “super” smelly seaside to build our rafts, paddling out to the marking and U-turn back to the shore.
