Let me tell you a joke today.
My client from Turkey was here for the exhibition last week, he brought so many of the Turkish Delights to share it with the local Malaysian exhibition visitors.
Before hand, I will do some explanation here. Turkish Delight is a kind of sweet manufactured in Turkey, it tastes very very sweet as if like you are eating a piece of honey.
In Turkey, Turkish pronounce “Honey” as “H-o-o-o-o-n-e-y”.
He says something to me …
Client : Benghan, had you tried our Turkish Delight?
Me : Yes, it’s very sweet!
Client : Yes, if you eat too much, you will get a lot H-o-o-o-n-e-y. Its very very sweet.
Me : What? Eating too much will get horny?
Client : Yes, we are getting too much H-o-o-o-o-n-e-y eating this. We don’t really eat this in Turkey.
Me : Ya, I am getting too much horny too! I had so many of them since yesterday.
Client : Ha Ha Ha ! Nah, don’t eat too much, it’s very sweet!
After a round of visiting other exhibition stands seeing different clients, i began to think … Eating delights will get horny? What the …
Gosh, it’s just about the pronunciation . It’s supposingly to be “Honey” but not “Horny”.
