Today, everyone is so busy preparing for the upcoming show - DSA 2008.
Tomorrow is the first day of moving in the exhibition stands for DSA 2008 at PWTC, clients from Europe & Turkey will be here in Malaysia. It will be an interesting exhibition and mainly are about Defense Systems.
Last Sunday, I was browsing through Eripeng’s Blog and understood that she was at SSF for some shopping. She says, she saw something which it looks like a Woman Body without Head. I’d say, it looks pretty much more like a Dancing Chicken with Boobs & Big Drumstick to me. It reminds me about KFC.

Back to the Kota Kinabalu Sabah Business Trip, don’t you think it’s beautiful?

It was located at the centre of the city where you can access to most of the places by just walking.
Although the room is small, I’d say it’s nicely equipped with whatever basic items for a hotel room for holiday makers or business travelers.

Believe it or not, It’s at the rate of RM143.00 nett per night and they call this as “courtroom”
Cleanliness = 5/5
Strategic Location = 4/5
Pricing = 4/5
Service = 5/5
Overall = 4/5

As what mentioned in my post before I leave to Kota Kinabalu, here you go, some photos of the superb Sutera Harbour!
I was at Sutera Harbour for a 3 days 2 night build-up for the client’s exhibition booth and I had this opportunity to mingle around the place for some shots on the landscaping.
When you tell the taxi driver that you’d like to go to Sutera Harbour, you will also need to indicate which place : Magellan / Pacific. Both of them are different hotels.
By the way, it’s just about 20 minutes far from the airport.
The rates of cabs are at fixed rate as below : -
KK International Airport - Town = RM20.00 nett
Town - KK International Airport = RM20.00 nett
Town to Sutera Harbour = RM10.00 nett
Sutera Harbour = RM10.00 nett
Town (North/East/South/West) - Town (North/East/South/West) = RM5.00 nett
Basically, they don’t use the meters machine and it’s already a fixed rate for all the taxi drivers in KK.

Entrance of Magellan

By the poolside …

By the shore …

By the kid’s pool …

By the harbor … The place where you can get watersports like flying fish, parasailing, etc.

By the manmade beach side, the one and only at Sutera Harbour. It’s a very small beach side for tourist to swim in the sea, locals say that it’s man-made.

The rooms …

The hall ..

The Restaurant …
Room rate starting from RM400.00 onwards.

Without ancestors, who we are?
“Qing Ming Festival” is a traditional festive season for chinese to pay a visit to their ancestors’ graveyard for some tomb sweeping.
See what Wikipedia says about Qing Ming :
The Qingming Festival (traditional Chinese: 清明節; simplified Chinese: 清明节; pinyin: Qīngmíngjié, Vietnamese language: Tết Thanh Minh), meaning Clear and Bright Festival, is a traditional Chinese festival on the 104th day after the winter solstice (or the 15th day from the Spring Equinox), usually occurring around April 5 of the Gregorian calendar (see Chinese calendar). Every leap year, Qing Ming is on April 4. Astronomically, it is also a solar term (See Qingming). In solar terms, the Qingming festival is on the 1st day of the 5th solar term, which is also named Qingming. Its name denotes a time for people to go outside and enjoy the greenery of springtime (踏青 Tàqīng, “treading on the greenery”), and also to tend to the graves of departed ones. It is an official public holiday in the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to 2008, the holiday was not officially observed in the People’s Republic of China since the Communist Party of China classified it as superstition.[1] However, it was recently reinstated and officially celebrated as a public holiday for the first time in the PRC on April 4, 2008.
It is also known as “Grave Sweeping Day” or “Tomb Sweeping Day”, where all the cousins & relatives will meet up each other to clean up the ancestor’s grave.

Did you know that even pets have their own grave?

The day I woke up very early and Uncle Taxi even waited for me at 5.00am, 30 minutes earlier than what I called and booked. So far, he has been a very good driver who send me from Kepong to KLIA.
With such opportunity, I think I should recommend him and for those who are reading this, you should take down his number at 016-6925476/019-3322345 (Yajib). His rate is RM70.00 for sending you to KLIA.
I went LCCT taking AirAsia to Kota Kinabalu for Business Trip (Representing my colleague to take-charge of an exhibition booth for client), I had this opportunity to pay a visit at Kota Kinabalu for the very first time!
Kota Kinabalu, is just a very small town and my booth contractor even brought me around with his 4×4 and we manage to complete the town in just less than 1 hour. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Seriously, I have 1 whole day and I have nowhere to go. I didn’t know where is the Jetty or you will see more shots of Islands & Snorkeling. I even brought my underwater set along!
At Sabah, there are places which I’ve explored:-
1. Waterfront - A place which known as happening place during weekends. You can get good massage at affordable rate, clubs like “BED”, pubs, lounges, western food, dining at the seaside enjoying the sea breeze at night, listening to some songs and chill out.

2. Philippino Market - The locals tell me that they don’t really visit this place. It meant for tourists and you must beware of your belongings as there are many pickpockets. They sell souvenirs and local made woodcrafts. They even peel the skin off from a real frog and made them a purse and selling it at RM55.00 each! (Bargainable Price)

3. Portview Seafood Restaurant - Another place where people always say that the great seafood to be found here. Yet there is another fact saying that this place sell expensive seafood! By the way, I’ve tried out their food with my booth contractor and the rate will be approximately 6/10. If you happen to visit Sabah, many locals say that the best seafood is not in the town, which you need to take a cab approx. 20 minutes from the town.
Sorry, no photos taken at this place.
4. Bukit Bendera, Kota Kinabalu - Yes, you read it right! It’s Bukit Bendera as what you can see in Penang. My booth contractor brought me up and there you go - THE FUCKIN’ ENTIRE KOTA KINABALU is all under your feet.

5. Night Food Market - If you love big fresh seafood, this is a place that you must visit. It’s located at the same row of Waterfront and you will find this place which looks like a Pasar Malam. Just remember to bargain for good price.

Ok, enough said. Here are some previews of the upcoming posts/recommendations at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah : -
- Radius International Hotel, Sabah
- Fish & Co, Sabah
- Fisherman’s Wharfs, Sabah
- Sabah Government Building
- Sutera Harbour, Sabah

Well, I’m finally back after my modem has been striked by lightning, and it was being replaced with Buffalo WBMR-G54 at RM200.00. I will write a product review after a few months of testing this product.
Few weeks back, we had a birthday celebration of my colleague at Scarlet, Cineileisure Damansara.

It was so painfully funny and we had lots of fun!

So we party whole night long and I had a massive headache the next day!

Oh by the way, did I mention that there are lots of great photos from Sabah?
