First of all, thank you Jo of Shangri-la Putrajaya for the arrangements.

Recently, I did a food review/dinner at Restaurant Azur, Shangri-la Hotel Putrajaya, with the kind assistance of Jo, she arranged us a nice perfect dinner at Azur.

What is Shangri-la Putrajaya?
Shangri-la Putrajaya was located at Taman Putra Perdana, in the Big Roundabout in Putrajaya. If you ever drove there before and if you can see the very the damn big roundabout, yes, it is the one. Shangri-la is located in the Roundabout.

It has a very nice landscape and a very nice ambiance for their customers to dine out for lunch or dinner. It’s a perfect spot for businessman to organize meetings and also to allow sweet couples to have a romantic dinner in one of their many restaurants.

And there you go, be prepared for some drooling pictures!Introducing … Restaurant Azur at Shangri-la Putrajaya!

This is an appetizer … “Smoked salmon timbale and cream chees parisenne on avocado mousse”. I’d say, perfect! The way they do the presentation looks good with the fish eggs on top. The smoked Salmon was wrapped with avocado mousse and the salmon is extremely fresh! The moment you give it a god damn bite, the gravy comes into your mouth and you can taste the greatness of the fresh, smoked, salmon.

Rating of 9/10

3rd Presented : Cream of Tomato Soup with Crab Meat

It has to be tasted hot, served hot! The soup is very the awesome as well, it is heavenly nice and the portion is not too big nor too small. Give a bite at the meat in the middle of the soup.

Rating of 8/10

Fruit tastes sour and served in Blended Icy Little Cute Glass.

Rating of 7/10

5th Presented : Roast marinated spring chicken and feta cheese served with baked Idaho potato with sauteed cream spinach and black pepper sauce

Roasted spring chicken was presented, the piece of cheese on the top of the roasted spring chicken makes the chicken taste even better. The sauteed cream spinach is a OMG and the black pepper sauce makes the chicken stand out of the crowd. The most important thing, we like the mushrooms!

Mussels, Johor Bahru

When i was at Danga Bay Johor Bahru, i took a short walk at the seaside.I didn’t know that they are actually selling Mussels & Oysters at the roadside until i took a short walk at the seaside in the early morning before i back to Kuala Lumpur.

Surprisingly, the fast boat fetching tonnes of Green Color Shells to the shore, unloading all the shells and went back collecting more Shells.

And i knew this is a seafood in Oyster Family.

Accordingly to the ‘Oysterman’, the Mussels can stay fresh even if you are thinking to bring it back from Johor to Sabah, as long as you keep it in the Cooler Box.

In the end seeing the price is so the cheap, I went back the hotel and Checked Out, drove my car here and i bought 1KG of Fresh Mussels at the price of ………………………….

RM5.00 NETT.

Believe it, or not.

They are actually selling the wild Oyster (Which you can eat it fresh) at the price of RM2.00 each. (Now you know how the Restaurants over-charged?) My friend says if you are lucky, you might be able to find pearl inside.

Golden Sands Resort, Penang

First of all, thanks to Joann and Stacy - the Hoteliers who made the hotel room booking and praying that the occupancy rate is not going up to 90% or more.

Of course, we did curse the hotel and luckily, we got our hotel rooms!

We were at Golden Sands Resort, Penang, by Shangri-la at the cheaper corporate rate.

They have very wonderful landscaping in this Golden Resorts Penang.

You can even raise your flags to ask for service.

This is where people do their sunbathing.

The nice hotel lobby!
