Proton Roadshow, Metropolitan College

Friday, May 18th, 2007 32 views

I dropped by Metropolitan on last week and noticing that Proton is having a roadshow for the students to test drive their Proton Satria NEO and Proton Savvy!

A very new concept - Bringing in the Test Drive into colleges rather than waiting them to come to the showroom, smart idea they have there.

A tent for the students to rest and wait for their turn to test drive the Satria NEO and the Savvy.

By completing the survey form, you stand a change to win Rides with the A1GP - Alex Yoong & “Malaysian Drift Champion” - Tengku Djan, together with an iPod Shuffle.

You will need to stand high in order to reach high.

NEO A1 Demo Car has a very nice Rims.

The Campro engine, i’m not sure if it’s like the one inside my lorry?

The powerful engine, accordingly to the Proton Team, 0-100mph in less than 10 seconds.

Malaysian Car, i always doubt and have to think twice.

The ONLY & ONE good thing about Proton: It has a very nice Air-Cond Cooling System.

Taman Connaught Pasar Malam, Cheras

Monday, May 7th, 2007 159 views

Introducing the Taman Connaught Pasar Malam, which is located at Taman Connaught, Cheras.Arriving at 5.30pm, it looks like this.

Introducing Seng Kei’s 100% Fruit Juice, it kills many people at one time. My friend ordered don’t know what stupid fruit and it is like 130% sour, it tastes like brain. Remember, the drinks never add any sugar or water, its purely fruit juice.

In Taman Connaught Pasar Malam, you will see this stall with many tables & chairs behind their stall, allowing customers to eat their food on the spot. They are selling really fresh and nice fried chicken, spicy squid, curry chicken, veges, mee goreng, bihun goreng and even Shark’s Fin!

Here - You - GO !

Not forgetting, 988 was there too, together with the DJ - Jeff. The rest we don’t know who they are.

They have this new concept, singing Karaoke in the truck, at the roadside. This is to promote Green Box!

Digi Ge Ge Riuh, Johor Bahru

Sunday, May 6th, 2007 64 views

Another event organized by Digi, collaborating with PDRM Malaysia celebrating their 200 Years Anniversary. For this time, they target Malays and everything has to be in Yellow Color! (Digi Corporate Identity)’

This is where our booth located at, with the buntings as a support of branding.

When we say sampling, we meant it. For this round, the kids are doing ’self-service’ instead of sampling. Can see how despo the kids are?

Pretty Jeslyn & Amy walking around approaching the customers to purchase on spot.

Upon purchase of 2 cans at RM3.00, the officers get a chance to lucky draw Ping Pong and they can win prizes!

Look at the big crowd, they claimed that there are about 20,000 crowd

When kids see Jousting, Jousting is no longer Jousting, it becomes a Trampoline.

Even Digi Yellowman greets the crowd!

The Digi Celebrities

They have a very lame marching, whereby they call it as a “Kawat Patung”. The marching have to be a very toy march and the commander has to command in a very toy manner. What a stupid lame marching. Everyone has to make up white on their face so that they look like a ghost.

The next Digi Ge Ge Riuh will be at Malacca on 2 June 2007 & 3 June 2007!

If you are a blogger, let me know if we can meet up for a drink! =P

Chicken Ball Rice, Melacca

Sunday, May 6th, 2007 27 views

Melacca has a lot of nice and famous Chicken Ball Rice. Personally tasted but i’m not sure why it tastes so differently and for my own thoughts, it’s just a normal rice squeeze into a ball by either : -

  1. Using Squeezing Machine
  2. Using Dirty Hands

If it’s the 2nd one “Using Dirty Hands to Squeeze the Rice”, you can imagine yourself.

I were at “Wo Kei Kai Fan” for a short lunch before i proceed in driving to Johor Bahru.

The Chicken Wings are good, i can’t imagine eating the thighs or drumstick, i believe the flesh will be very smooth and slurrrrrppp! Wtf.

This is how the ball looks like. I guess that if it’s in seriously round shaped, it was squeezed by the machines. If it is not that round, confirmed : Dirty Hands.

Average Price of RM6.00 per person. It’s a Jonker Street.

Kota A Famosa, Melacca

Saturday, May 5th, 2007 157 views

Kota A Famosa, which was located just next to Dataran Pahlawan, a short walking distance.

The hallmark of Malacca and perhaps the most photographed subject next to the Stadhuys. Built by the Portuguese in 1511 as a fortress it sustained severe damage during the Dutch invasion. The British East India Company had set to destroy it but timely intervention by Sir Stamford Raffles in 1808 saved what remains of A Famosa today.

Fenix Inn, Melacca

Friday, May 4th, 2007 52 views

Been there the last few years ago, this is another time i back in Malacca. Things had changed, new buildings were built, more cars, more traffic jam, more pretty little girls.I checked in myself and my stuffs at Fenix Inn, Malacca. So proud staying a 5 Star Motel.

This 5 Star Motel is so the clean and so the nice and comfortable to stay at. People has an impression which a motel must be a dirty motel with dirty rooms.

It is very the convenient, you can just walk across the road to reach Mahkota Parade or Dataran Pahlawan. There are few restaurant downstairs for your breakfast, lunch and dinner as well. If you are short of cash, there is a Maybank downstair as well.

Look at this.

The outlook of the Fenix Inn.

You will need to park your car inside here and then pass your keys to the jockeys.

The narrow walkways to your room.

The small and cozy room, enough for single business traveller.

Not forgetting, they are providing Free Internet Connection!

Also, own private bathroom.

Normal price at RM88.00 per night. Peak Season at RM118.00 per night.
